The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is the raucous tale of six quirky middle schoolers battling it out for the most coveted of prizes - first place. As the students compete, they begin to learn the meaning of words such as “strabismus”, “boanthropy”, and, best of all ,“friendship”.
