Mircalla

October 4 - October 13

$10 – $15

BareStage Productions presents
Mircalla

Directed by Ella Darlington
Produced by Madigan Traversi

Mircalla follows Laura, a sheltered girl who lives alone with her father and Carmilla, a mysterious young woman who shows up on Laura’s doorstep one day with more than a few tricks up her sleeve. Although Laura and Carmilla have little in common, the two make for a good pair: Laura learns that Carmilla can overlook her obsession with bats if Laura can overlook Carmilla’s pointy teeth, unexplained past, and strange ability to never age… But Laura doesn’t think much of it! She’s just happy to have a friend. Or…friend? As Laura and Carmilla’s relationship progresses, the two start to realize there might be stronger feelings there.

Mircalla is a story of love, loss, curiosity, and what it means to be an outsider in society. And vampires. Lots of vampires.
