UC Men's Chorale

UC Men's Chorale is the oldest collegiate choir in the Western United States, having entertained the Cal community since 1885. Its repertoire encompasses everything from classical arrangements to contemporary pop to the incomparable Cal songs. UCMC often joins with the UC Women's Chorale to help spread the enthralling magic of music to Berkeley. Membership is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Auditions occur at the beginning of every new semester. Above all, members of UCMC love to sing, and that's why we're here! Thanks for supporting a Cal tradition like no other!

UC Women's Chorale

Most women begin their UCCE career with the UC Women's Chorale, probably the most diverse large choral group on any college campus. Often singing with the Men’s Chorale, UCWC sings in popular annual events like the Halloween Concert, A Cappella Against AIDS benefit concert, and caroling in San Francisco during the holidays. UCWC offers singers from all backgrounds a relaxed but very rewarding and active experience.

Noteworthy

Noteworthy is the Berkeley Campus' only a cappella group which sings original music. While our heart is in the original songs, we delight in the kooky side of a cappella. Being crazy like that, Noteworthy loves to sing so we bring that passion and energy to each and every performance we are privileged to be a part of. With that passion, we like to treat a cappella as a medium for entertainment since we stress not just vocal performance but stage performances and, especially, creativity not just with the original music but with everything we sing! Come see us be creative outside Sather gate every Friday at 2 PM. Auditions usually held at beginning and end of every year.
