The California Golden Overtones are a completely student-run musical group on campus. We are a lively group of girls who, with our music, love to spread joy and Cal Spirit. We can be seen performing at Cal football games, at University functions, as well as all over the Bay Area for private events and parties. We have been performing for our favorite fans -- Cal students -- every Friday at 1 PM in front of Sather Gate for more than 20 years!

12:00 noon in the Cesar Chavez basement. Please prepare a song to sing unaccompanied that shows off your voice! Bring homework to do (Audtions may take all day). Be yourself, and be prepared to have fun!

ICCA Semifinals

March 16 , 2008

Congratulations to SoCal VoCals for winning 1st place at the ICCA Semifinals on March 15, 2008.  The Overtones are happy to have been able to perform and share the stage with mind-blowing talent from all over the west coast.  It was an amazing show.

ICCA Quarterfinals

The California Golden Overtones came in first place at the ICCA West Region Quarterfinal 2 on February 9, 2008. Come support the Overtones at Semifinals on Saturday, March 15 at the Marin Center for Performing Arts.
